Cookie policy
We use a few essential cookies so you can sign in. That is all. No advertising, no tracking, no banner to click through.
Effective October 1, 2026

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep. They let a site remember something between one page and the next, such as the fact that you are signed in.
The cookies we use
Kitchenlore Inc. sets only strictly necessary cookies, which the Service cannot work without. On secure connections their names may begin with __Secure- or __Host-, which tells your browser to send them only over HTTPS.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| authjs.session-token | Keeps you signed in. A signed, encrypted token that scripts on the page cannot read. | Up to 30 days, or until you sign out |
| authjs.csrf-token | Protects sign-in and account forms from cross-site request forgery. | Until you close the browser |
| authjs.callback-url | Remembers which page to return you to after you sign in. | Until you close the browser |
If you never sign in, for example while trying the rescue demo on the homepage, we do not need to set a session cookie at all.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party tracking cookies, social media pixels or cross-site identifiers.
- No analytics cookies.
When you check out, Stripe’s payment page may set its own cookies to prevent fraud. Those are set on Stripe’s site, under Stripe’s cookie policy, and only when you choose to pay.
Other technologies
We do not use local storage, fingerprinting or any similar technology to track you or identify you across sites.
Your choices
Because we only use essential cookies, there is nothing to opt out of and no consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; if you block ours, you will not be able to stay signed in.
Changes and contact
If we ever add a cookie that is not essential, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Questions go to privacy@kitchentlore.com. See also our privacy policy.
