About paying for it.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Five recipes and one family book, free for as long as you like, with no card required. You can export everything on the free plan too.
What does annual billing save?
Annual is two months free. Keeper is $90 a year instead of $108, and Heirloom is $190 a year instead of $228. Prices are in US dollars.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep your book. It stays readable and exportable on the free plan. You will not be able to add recipes past five, transcribe new memos, or invite new family until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted unless you delete it.
Does everyone in the family need a plan?
No. Only the person who owns the book pays. People you invite to view or contribute do not need a paid plan of their own.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, up or down at any time from Settings. Upgrades take effect right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you already paid for.
Do you offer refunds?
If you are charged and did not mean to be, write to help@kitchentlore.com within 14 days and we will refund the charge. We would rather lose a payment than keep one you did not want.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe. Kitchenlore never sees or stores your full card number. If paid plans are not open yet when you sign up, you can join the waitlist and we will write to you the day they open.
Is printing included?
Heirloom includes the print-ready PDF. You then order copies from any print-on-demand service you like and pay them directly. We do not mark up printing.
